Katie is originally from the Bay Area, California (Oakland to be exact), and has been obsessed with telling stories since day one. Growing up with two professional musician parents, she started playing piano at age five, and will be immediately disowned if she dare clap on one and three.
After earning her BFA in Musical Theater from The Hartt School of Music, Dance, and Theatre, Katie made her way to NYC, quickly immersing herself in the New York regional and Off-Broadway scene. As a Jewish actor, Katie is particularly passionate about engaging in theater that celebrates her family’s history and heritage.
By day, she showcases her elementary mathematics skills at the prestigious wealth management firm, Shufro Rose & Company, proudly Administrative Assistant to an all-female team: The Kaminsky-Silverman Group.
